History
Geographic location: 31°55'10.6"S 60°18'40.2"W - Espinillo District, Paraná Department, Entre Ríos, Argentina.
The settlement was founded in 1886 by Pedro Merou. He sold the land to Volga German immigrants. Colonia Merou, is located 20 km from Crespo. It is a community of Volga Germans dedicated to agriculture. It has a school institution that serves all levels. The majority belong to the Lutheran Church (IELA) and a few to the Evangelical Church of the Rio de la Plata (IERP).
