HISTORY
Volga German immigrants from Norka, Oberdorf, and Wiesenmüller settled in Sebewaing beginning in 1902, coming from Lincoln, Nebraska, where they had settled earlier. They were attracted to the area by the sugar beet industry that was being developed in the Saginaw Valley.
