Johannes Trupp, born 26 November 1752, was the son of Johann Heinrich Trupp from Langsdorf and Anna Catharina Bemmersheim. Johann Heinrich Trupp died in Wohnbach, Germany. His widow and his only surviving child, Johannes, went to Russia, and were original colonists of Frank. This family is traced to Johannes Tropp born about 1679, and Anna Elisabeth Pauli of Langsdorf, Germany.
