Johann Peter Spangenberger, son of Johann Heinrich and Anna Margaretha Spangenberger, was born 25 August 1755 and baptized 28 August 1755 in Eichelsdorf. Johann Heinrich Spangenberger died, and Anna Margaretha married Nicolaus Langlitz on 10 October 1760.
The combined Langlitz-Spangenberger family arrived at the port of Oranienbaum on 14 September 1766. They arrived in Yagodnaya Polyana on 16 September 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 Census in Household No. 68.
