In the parish records of Fränkisch-Crumbach, Johann Conrad Schmunck, a linen weaver, and his wife (Elisabeth Lotz) and children are listed as colonists leaving for Russia in May 1766. They arrived in Dobrinka on 20 June 1767 and are listed on the 1767 census there in Household No. 68.
