The Wolferborn parish records report that Johann Conrad Schlegel (the son of Johannes and Anna Catharina Schlegel) was baptized on 16 May 1728. Conrad married Elisabeth Wagener (the daughter of Johann Heinrich Wagener) on 12 Feb 1754. The baptisms of four children were recorded in the Wolferborn records: Johannes, 25 Feb 1754; Hermann, 23 Jun 1757; Nicolaus, 9 Mar 1760; and Johann Jobst, 18 Feb 1763. The family arrived in Russia on 8 Aug 1766. They settled in Huck and are reported on the Huck First Settler's List in Family #23.
