Johann Adam Röder, son of Sebastian and Anna Röder, was baptized 21 January 1726 in Büdingen. Adam Röder married Susanna Jüngert, daughter of Johannes Jüngert, on 15 October 1748 in Rinderbügen, Isenburg. Susanna was baptized 28 December 1728 in Rinderbügen. Adam and Susanna's daughter Maria Dorothea was baptized in Rinderbügen on 19 January 1749.
Johann Adam and his wife Susanna arrived at the port in Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 along with 3 of their children: Maria Dorothea (age 20), Anna Margaretha (age 10½), and Johann (age 8).
Adam, his new wife (Katharina, age 20), and his children from the first marriage arrived in Messer on 14 September 1767 where they are recorded on the 1767 Census in Household No. 91.
Adam Röder from Messer is recorded on the 1798 Census of Bauer at Household No. 7 (Br07) as being the deceased husband of Christina Hoffmann who has remarried to Valentin Frühauf.
