Description
Daniel Präfried was from Leidhecken, just southeast of Reichelsheim. He married in Lübeck on 15 July 1766 to Anna Elisabeth Kalck, and they immigrated to Russia. They eventually settled in the colony of Kind, because the widower Präfried is recorded as having left there in 1781 without passport. The Präfried surname does not appear to continue among the Volga German colonies.
