The Decker book states that Nicolaus Muth, settler in Grimm, came from Schlierbach. Nicolaus Muth, the son of Velten Muth, was baptized in Schlierbach on 20 Oct 1720. Nicolaus Muth and Charlotta, daughter of Daniel Kühnemman, were married in Schlierbach on 20 Jan 1747.
Nicolaus and Charlotta arrived in Russia on 10 Aug 1766 with two children, Susanna, age 21 and Alexander, age 20. The baptisms of these two children have not been found in the Schlierbach parish records. The family settled in Grimm and are reported there in First Settler's List Family #44.
