Description

Johann Nicolaus Müller, son of Johannes and Anna Maria Müller of Wiedermus, was born in November 1737. Anna Dorothea, daughter of Friedrich and Anna Margaretha Weÿgandt of Wiedermus, was born on 4 March 1737. Johann Nicolaus and Anna Dorothea married on 6 March 1760.  The baptisms of three children, all born in Wiedermus, are recorded in the Eckartshausen parish records:  Anna Christina, born 29 February 1761; Anna Catharina, born 1 August 1763; and Johann Heinrich, born 20 March 1766.  The family arrived in Russia on 9 August 1766, along with two aunts: Elisabeth and Anna Margaretha.  Anna Dorothea died during the trip to the villages.  Nicolaus, his new wife Anna Margaretha, all three children from his first marriage, and aunt Margaretha settled in Norka and are recorded on the First Settler's List in Family #12.
