The 1767 Census of Kratzke records the family of Philipp Michaelis, 27, Lutheran, a wine-maker, from "Kurpfalz, Munsam?", arriving in Kratzke on 7 August 1766 along with his wife, Maria Dorothea, 28, and their daughter Anna Magdalena (no age recorded). The Michaelis chart prepared by Igor Pleve in 1998 records Philipp Michaelis from "Kurpfalz, Munsam?". Evangelisches Kirchenbuch Monsheim, 1609-1781, records "den 28tn Juny ist Kieffer Meister Johann Theodor Michaelis ein Söhnlein gebohren, den 1tn July (....) getaufft. Gevatter war ..Johann Philip Pleickarth, gerichtsman N: Joh. Philip." [28 Jun (1742) a son was born to master cooper Johann Theodor Michaelis and baptized 1 Jul. Godparent was Johann Philip Pleickart, judge. Name: Joh. Philip].
Descendants of this Michaelis family later also settled in Ährenfeld.
