Description

Michael Hohweiler and Maria Magadalena Stroh were married on 1 Mar 1758 in Hailer. Maria Magdalena was born 26 Jan and baptized 1 Feb 1739 in Hailer, the daughter of Johannes Stroh and his wife Susanna. Michael and Maria Magdalena had two children according to the Hailer/Meerholz parish records: Georg Ernst, born 11 Sep 1763 and baptized 16 Sep 1763, and Johannes, born 24 Jan 1768 and baptized 27 Jan 1768. 

A list of immigrants to Russia in 1773 includes Michael Hohweiler from Hailer, his wife Maria Magdalena, and their sons Georg Ernst and Johannes. Johannes Hohweiler is reported on the 1798 Census living in Stephan.
