Description

Johann Georg Haÿn (son of Mathes Haÿn) and Anna Maria Jockel (daughter of Johannes Jockel) married in Wächtersbach on 5 Mar 1750. They arrived in Russia with three children, all baptized in Wächtersbach on the following dates: Johann Ludwig, 2 May 1753; Anna Catharina, 4 Apr 1756; and Christian Friedrich, 19 Sep 1762. 

The family arrived in Russia on 8 Aug 1766, and settled in Huck. They are reported on the Huck First Settler’s List in Family #2.  The surname is generally spelled “Hein” in later records.
