Description
Johann Kaspar Gruenwald was born 4 Feb 1723 in Gross-Felda, Alsfeld, Germany, the son of Hans Kasper Grünwald and Anna Elisabeth Scharmann. He married Anna Katharina Eisfelder on 12 Aug 1744. She was born 17 May 1718, the daughter of Johann Conrad Eisfelder and Anna Catharina Dietz. This family has been researched back to 1600’s with all lateral lineages researched also.
Kaspar arrived in Frank in 1767 with his wife and 3 children. They are recorded there on the 1767 Census in Household No. 65.
