Johann Balthasar Fein was born in Udenhain on 12 February 1747. His parents, Johannes Fein (son of Nicolaus Fein) and Johanna Maria Eurich (daughter of the late Peter Eurich from Schlierbach) married in Udenhain on 4 March 1734.
Johann Balthasar, along with a number of other Huck settlers from the same parish, arrived in Russia on 9 August 1766. He is recorded on the Huck First Settlers List in Family #83.
