In the parish records of Fränkisch-Crumbach, Johannes Becker from Wersau (4 kilometers north of Fränkisch-Crumbach, and his wife (née Eidemüller) are included in a list of immigrants. They arrived in Bauer on 20 July 1766 and are listed there on the 1767 Census in Household No. 34.
