Description
Johannes Arnd, son of Johann Conrad Arnd, was baptized in Bergheim (formerly Heckenbergheim) on 22 Feb 1739. He arrived in Russia on 18 Jun 1766, and is recorded in the Kulberg Lists with his surname spelled Arndt. He settled in Kolb and is reported there in First Settler’s List #27 with his surname misspelled Arnst in the published translation (spelled Arent in the original document). He appears to have no descendants in Kolb.
