Biography
Pastor Franz Hölz, son of Peter Hölz & Maria Margaretha Echternach, was born on 29 August 1773 in Oberdiebach, near Bacharach in what is today the German state of Rheinland-Palatinate. He married Wilhelmine Nabel who had been born in 1783.
He was ordained in St. Petersburg, and served the parish in Slatoust from 1814-1816, the parish of Rosenheim from 1816-1820, and the parish of Frank from 1820-1837. He died in Frank in 1837.
He is the father of Pastor Franz Karl Hölz.
