Biography
The Reverend Edward Graumann, son of Frederick & Julia Graumann, was born in Harvey, North Dakota, on 26 February 1900. He married Elsie Delabarre at Redfield, South Dakota, on 13 June 1923, the same day as he was ordained.
After his graduation from the Theological Seminary of Redfield, he served churches at Tacoma, Washington; Alpena, South Dakota; Tacoma for a second time; Portland, Oregon; and Fort Morgan, Colorado. Following this 24-year ministry, he was chosen in 1946 as Pastor‑at‑large, and served the General Conference of German Congregational churches for twenty years, retiring in 1966. During this time his residence was in Portland. He died in Portland on 27 July 1968. He was buried in Skyline Memorial Gardens.
