HISTORY
Silesia is located 11 miles south of Laurel.
VOLGA GERMAN CONGREGATIONS
There are currently no active congregations in Silesia, but there was a Lutheran Church in the area at one time, because there are baptismal and confirmation certificates that indicate that these activities took place at the "Evangelical Lutheran Church in Silesia, Montana" - signed by Pastor Henry T. Rauh who was known to have been an active Lutheran missionary in this area of Montana in the first decade of the twentiety century.
