History
The Deutsche Volkskirche (later known as the Riverview Peoples Church) was one of two early congregations in St. Paul in which Volga Germans were active.
Pastor Warnkentin seems to have been the first pastor associated with the Deutsche Volkskirche. Following his death, many members transfered to nearby Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
